This website, edtechcube.com, is operated by EdTech Cube, a division of Localize a2z ("EdTech Cube", "we", "us", "our"). We are responsible for the personal data we collect through this website, as described in this policy.

2. Scope
This policy explains how we handle personal data when you:
- visit our website;
- fill in an inquiry, contact, or newsletter form;
- apply for a job through our Careers page;
- book a call or correspond with us;
- are a business contact at a client, prospective client, partner, or supplier.
It does not cover personal data we process on behalf of clients in the course of a project, for example learner data on an LMS we host. That processing is governed by our contract and, where required, a data processing agreement with the client.

Information you give us:
- Identity and contact details: name, job title, company, work email, phone number, and country
- Project information: the details you share about your training needs, and any files you upload
- Job application details: your resume, work experience, current location, notice period, and any links or notes you share when you apply
- Communication preferences, such as newsletter consent
- Correspondence with us
Information collected automatically:
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, and operating system
- Usage data: pages visited, time on page, referring website
- Cookie and similar technology data (see section 8)
Information from other sources:
- Business contact information from professional networks, company websites, and business data providers, used for business-to-business outreach where the law permits.
We do not intentionally collect special-category (sensitive) personal data through this website. Please do not include it in your inquiries.

- Assessing job applications and contacting applicants. Data: identity, contact, and job application details. Legal basis: steps before entering an employment contract; legitimate interests.
- Sending newsletters and insights. Data: email address, preferences. Legal basis: consent.
- Business-to-business outreach to relevant professionals. Data: business contact details. Legal basis: legitimate interests (you can object at any time).
- Running, securing, and improving our website. Data: technical and usage data. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Analytics and non-essential cookies. Data: cookie data. Legal basis: consent.
- Meeting legal, tax, and regulatory obligations. Data: relevant records. Legal basis: legal obligation.
UAE. Where the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) applies, we process personal data with your consent or under another lawful ground that the law permits, such as performing a contract or complying with a legal obligation.
USA. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.

We share personal data only where necessary, with:
- Localize a2z companies, which support delivery, localization, and administration;
- Service providers acting on our behalf, such as website hosting, email, CRM, analytics, scheduling, and form tools (including Microsoft 365 for email and Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection on our forms), bound by contracts that protect your data;
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants;
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
We never sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
We operate in the USA, the UAE, and India, and some of our service providers may be based in other countries. When we transfer personal data outside the UK, the European Economic Area, or the UAE, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, as required by applicable data protection law.

7. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to meet legal, tax, and regulatory requirements. For example:
- Client and contract records: for the duration of the relationship plus the period required by applicable law.
- Job applications: up to 12 months after the role is filled, so we can consider you for similar roles, unless you ask us to delete your application sooner.
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
- Outreach contacts who opt out: we keep a minimal record on a suppression list so that we don't contact you again.
