About the role
EdTech Cube, builds custom eLearning for pharmaceutical, automotive, manufacturing, banking, and technology teams, and localizes it for learners worldwide. We are looking for a Vice President of Business Development to own new revenue end to end: opening enterprise conversations, shaping proposals with our instructional design and development leads, and turning first projects into multi-year programs. You will report to the founder and help set the commercial direction of the business.
What you will do
- Own the new business target for custom eLearning, localization, and LMS services across the US, UK, UAE, and India.
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline: outbound outreach, referrals, partnerships, industry events, and inbound inquiries from the website.
- Run enterprise sales cycles with L&D, HR, compliance, and procurement stakeholders, from discovery through pricing, security review, and contract.
- Write and present proposals, capability decks, and responses to RFPs and RFIs, working with instructional design, development, and quality teams on scope, effort, and timelines.
- Grow existing accounts: quarterly business reviews, new-program discovery, and renewals.
- Set and track the commercial numbers - pipeline coverage, win rate, average deal size, and margin - and report them to leadership.
- Feed market insight back into service design, pricing, and marketing, and help shape the outbound and content plan.
- Build the business development function over time, including hiring and coaching the team.
What you will bring
- 8+ years in business development or enterprise sales, with a track record of closing services deals in eLearning, learning and development, localization, or a related professional services field.
- Experience selling to enterprise buyers and navigating procurement, legal, and information security reviews.
- A working understanding of custom eLearning: instructional design, authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise, SCORM and xAPI, LMS platforms, and translation and localization workflows - enough to scope a project credibly with the delivery team.
- Strong written and spoken English, and the confidence to present to senior stakeholders.
- Comfort working across time zones with clients in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
- A consultative, numbers-led approach: disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
Nice to have
- An existing network in pharmaceutical, automotive, manufacturing, banking, or technology learning teams.
- Experience selling into regulated industries where compliance training and validation matter.
- Experience building or leading a small business development team.
Why join us
- An experienced delivery team, so what you sell gets built well.
- Direct access to the founder and a real say in pricing, positioning, and which markets we go after.
- Global client work across four regions, with room to build the function around you.
